Catalogue Printing Guideline

Creating a professional catalogue involves more than just compiling product images—it’s about organizing information in a clear, attractive, and print-ready format. Catalogues often contain many pages, so choose a binding method that suits your content volume. Saddle stitching works well for thinner catalogues (under 48 pages), while perfect binding or wire-o binding is better for thicker booklets. Use heavier stock (e.g., 250–300gsm) for the cover to ensure durability and a high-quality feel. For inner pages, 128–170gsm is typically ideal. You can also select finishes like matte, gloss, or uncoated based on your brand image. Include a clear layout with a table of contents, consistent product formatting, and organized sections. Leave enough white space and use grid-based layouts to keep things easy to read. For print, add 3mm bleed and keep important elements within safe margins (at least 10–15mm from edges). Export your file as a PDF/X format with all fonts embedded or outlined. Make sure the PDF includes bleed and crop marks. If you’re unsure, we can check your files before printing. A well-designed catalogue not only presents your products clearly but also builds trust and enhances your brand image.
